    EASA PPL

So I am just about to begin my EASA PPL and I was wondering if any knows if microlight three axis aircraft can be counted as hours towards the EASA PPL and how many hours are counted towards the EASA PPL before you have to fly a Light Aircraft like a cessna 172 for example

    Cheers

Hi Cameron. So EASA changed the rules back in 2020 and I believe now you can count hours from a 3 axis microlight towards your ppl. I believe they also count towards an SEP rating. The only thing is I think you have to have at least 1 hour with an instructor in a full SEP aircraft before you take your test
